Our keynote speaker, Maj. Owen Chandler, is an active-duty military chaplain currently stationed at Ft. Riley. Owen is also an ordained Disciples minister with his ministerial emphasis on discovering the healing, transformative power of the intersections between our story and God’s love.

Offering

The offering collected at Spirit Fest will go to the U.S. Army AER (Army Emergency Relief)fund. The Army Emergency Relief (AER) is a private, nonprofit organization that was created to help soldiers and their family members who experience financial emergencies.

Service Project

Bring $5.00 to purchase a treat for Kansas Christian Home residents. For every $5.00 we will add a paper ice cream cone to our display. Monies will go to gift cards from Braums for icecream treats (a favorite of KCH residents!)

Workshops

Five workshops will be offered. Choose two you would like to attend. Pre-registration is not

required.

One-on-One with Owen- Learn more from our keynoter about his military experience and passion for sharing God’s love.

Bible study - 1 Corinthians 13. How does God call me to love?

Leave a Legacy of Love - Kirby Gould, Christian Church Foundation will talk about investments for churches as well as individuals to ensure a legacy of love in the future.

Painted Rocks- Paint a love rock then “plant” it in your community for others to enjoy.
